Walter Michael Koziol passed May 11, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born to Walter and Bertha Koziol (nee Przybycien) on December 7, 1934 in Chicago, IL. Beloved husband and best friend of Julaine (nee LaRue) for 49 years. Wally was the proud father of Mary Tesch and Michael (Donna) Koziol. Loving grandfather (Papa) to Stephanie, Jessica and Melissa Tesch of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin and Shawn and Jonathan (Lil Squirt) Koziol of Palos Park, IL. Wally proudly served his country until he was honorably discharged by the United States Army. He joined Beardsley and Piper in 1962. After a long and successful career, he left the company in 1991. Wally, Julaine and son, Michael, owned and operated Emerald Quick Print in Westchester, IL, for seven years. Wally is survived by his brothers Richard (Lucia) and Donald (Barbara) Koziol. Preceded in death by sisters Alice Koziol and Dolores Kysella. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews (Everybody’s Uncle Wally). Die-hard Cubs fan who cheered endlessly until our Lord called Wally home. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Wed. May 16th, 10:45 a.m. from Modell Funeral Home 7710 S.
