William Lapinski, Korean War Army Veteran; beloved husband of Marie nee DePinto; loving father of Robert (Anne) Lapinski, Debra (Deacon Patrick) Kenny and Richard (Stephanie) Lapinski; cherished grandfather of Daniel, John & Matthew Lapinski, Renee (Tim) Kresl, Megan (Sam) Kucia, Caroline (Kevin) Madden, Grace, Maria, Patrick & Michael Kenny and Alexander, Gabrielle, Joshua, Luke & Brendan Lapinski; great-grandpa of Ben, Sam, Molly & Maggie Kresl and Isla & Emmeline Kucia; uncle of many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his sisters Laverne (Lester) Krauledis and Mildred (Walter) Olhava. Bill was extremely proud of his job as a Carpenter/Home Builder. He built every house that his family ever lived in and was a member of the Willowbrook Zoning Board. Visitation Thursday 4 – 8 P.M. at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien. Meeting at Our Lady of Peace Church on Friday for a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass. Int. at Queen of Heaven will take place immediately following Mass. Memorial Contributions to Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home, 515 W. Camp Street, PO Box 747, Lebanon, IN 46052 are appreciated.
