Beloved son of the late Edmund and Irene, nee Chelminski; dear brother of Edmund W. (Irene) and the late Donald Pietras and Bernadette (the late Robert) Netzel; nephew of the late Rev. Walter Chelminski; fond uncle of Mike (Janice) Netzel, Joseph (Tracy) Netzel, Cheryl (James) Whalen, Kevin (Nicole) Pietras, Jeffry Pietras, and Joy (James) Hood; great-uncle of Jack, Elizabeth, Joseph, Emma, Olivia and Jillian Netzel, Jake, Samantha and Nicholas Whalen, Mary, Faith, and Grace Pietras and Devin Veerachat. Served as associate pastor of St. Raymond Nonnatus Cathedral, Joliet, IL., St. Patrick Parish, Joliet, IL, and St. Joseph Parish, Lockport, IL. Former pastor of St. Alexis Parish, Bensenville, IL, Assumption Parish, Ashkum, IL, and pastor Emeritus of Divine Savior Parish, Downers Grove, IL after 20 years of service. Served as Diocesan Master of Ceremonies, the Presbyteral Counsel and previous chaplain of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree Group. Please send all Mass intentions to the missions.
